Service Description

Whether you have experience using a pottery wheel, or it is something you want to cross off your bucket list, we have opportunities for you to get your hands dirty! Join us for a “Sip & Spin” from 6-8 pm for an intro to the pottery wheel. Bring along your favorite adult beverage to enjoy during a short demo and then spend a few hours learning how to center clay and create your own masterpiece! Perfect for a unique and fun Girls' Night or Date Night! All materials and firing fees included. Instructor will fire your work for you and contact you when it is ready for painting at Sunshine Sunflower Studio. Participants will be able to return in approximately 2-3 weeks to glaze their projects. Please plan to come in within 30 days from notification to glaze your pottery, or it will have to be sacrificed to the pottery gods due to storage limitations. To best enjoy your pottery wheel experience, plan to wear jeans/shorts/pants/long, loose skirts as you will be straddling the pottery wheel. Clay washes out of your clothes, but it is best to wear things that are easily machine washable. Aprons will be provided. Watches/bracelets/rings should be removed and left at home or stored safely during the class time. Very long nails should be trimmed if possible, and very long hair should be tied up.
