Experience the Art of Sushi in this two-part class. The Art of Sushi is a collaborative workshop with our friend William at My Sushi Party! On week one, get creative and crafty with clay and create your own sushi set. Spend two hours creating a set that will include a 10" x 7" sushi platter and 2 side dishes. Sushi set will be dip glazed and fired. This is a hand building class - no experience required. On week two, you will return to the studio and learn to roll your own sushi with My Sushi Party. After making your dinner, you will enjoy your meal on your very own handmade sushi set. My Sushi Party is an unforgettable culinary experience that combines the art of sushi-making with a lively and social atmosphere. The menu boasts two classic rolls per person: the fiery Spicy Tuna Roll and the ever-popular California Roll. The Spicy Tuna Roll tantalizes taste buds with its kick of heat, while the California Roll offers a delightful blend of crab, avocado, and cucumber. And fear not, vegetarians—there’s a veggie roll option too! But that’s not all. The accompaniments elevate the experience. Start with a bowl of Edamame, those addictive soybean pods sprinkled with sea salt. Then, dive into the refreshing Sunomo Salad, a mix of imitation crab, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber, all bathed in a zesty dressing. The condiments are essential: a mound of pickled Ginger to cleanse the palate between bites, a dollop of fiery Wasabi for those who dare, and a shallow pool of Soy Sauce for dipping. And let’s not forget the homemade Garlic Ponzu Sauce, a tangy elixir that adds a burst of flavor to every morsel. As the evening unfolds, guests can customize their rolls with a variety of toppings.
